An easy day out. Very enjoyable gully. Very easy condition. Odd feelings thinking about the men who died. Very windy day bowled over on way in but sheltered on climb.

Happy Birthday me! Good consolidated snow all the way. Very little banking out at the fuselage so there was a short rock/aluminium step (about IV) leading to the propeller belay. Quality route.

Big group - TT, Jimbo, Lucy et al. Got to the propeller, but there was another big group that was ahead of us and they were just roping up and it would've taken us ages to wait for them so we decided to back down and take up another route to the right. Bril day out nevertheless.

great day out, poor vis, fantastic conditions only grade 2 around the fuselage about 6 m of climbing, good belay on wheel.

Deep snow and hard going. Broke trail all the way in and found out the hard way that knee-deep bog can hide under waist-deep powder.

Intended to do West Buttress, hard work breaking trail in, chose slightly the wrong line to start from Broad Terrace and backed off in the end, finishing up Fuselage.

Lean, so some parties may wish to pitch past the wreckage. Fun, and atmospheric.
