Julia is an equally talented and well-rounded competition climber, having qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at the end of last year in Toulouse.

The route was an old project bolted by Quentin Chastagnier. Alex Megos made the first ascent in 2016 and the route became the first 9a+ to be flashed with Adam Ondra's historic ascent in 2018.

Margo Hayes made the first female ascent of a 9a+ with La Rambla Extension in Siurana in 2017. Margo went on to climb Biographie (2017) and Papichulo (2019), both 9a+. Anak Verhoeven became the second woman to climb 9a+ - and the first to make an FA of the grade - with an ascent of Sweet Neuf (2017). She subsequently redpointed Joe Mama 9a+ (2019). Angy Eiter skipped 9a+ to make the first female ascent of a 9b with La Planta de Shiva in 2017. (UKC News).
