Mick has been climbing for over 40 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in many aspects of the climbing scene including bouldering, competition climbing, sport, trad and alpine.

Mick has numerous first ascents to his name with routes such as Climb of the Century (8a+) and Conceptual Continuity (8b) at Malham Cove, the Kilnsey classic Biological Need (7c), Mirage (8a) at Gordale and Meltdown (E7 6b) in the Lake District.

Mick is widely known as a sport climber but since relocating to North Wales in 2016 he has rediscovered his ‘trad’ roots most recently with early repeats of Bam Bam (E8 6b) and Requiem for a Vampire (E8 6b) at Craig Dorys.
