Born in Parma in 1985 I grew up as a climber travelling around the world to fulfill my passion, being it competitions or outdoor climbing. During my career I've become Italian boulder champion, won the Italian bouldering cup and took part to many international events and competitions. But it's on rock where I spent most of my time, slowly evolving my passion from bouldering to wider aspects of rock climbing and mountaineering. Nowadays I've climbed up to 8b+ boulder, 8c sport and E8 7a trad.
Alongside my passion for climbing I discovered photography which has always been my faithful partner during my travels, and also a way to escape from ordinary routine.
My favorite genres are of course landscapes, time lapses and outdoor photography, but I also love to shoot events, architecture, streets and conceptual images in general. I like videography as well, always trying to think it in photographic terms.
I do love lenses: from modern to vintage my collection lets me choose the right glass to obtain the look I want from an image, and I thank my Sony cameras for letting me use all of them in my works.
As a climber I always tried to tell my story and my adventures to the others. Now I'm willing to use my knowledge and skills to keep telling stories, finding myself on the other side of the camera.
