Simon Lorenzi is a competition climber who won the World Youth Championships in Lead back in 2016. He has since transitioned to the senior competitions and has been gradually improving in both Lead and Boulder.

In 2021, he made the first ascent of the long-standing sit start project to The Big Island in Fontainebleau and graded it Font 9A - the world's second.
