Petr Pavlíček's christmas gift to the climbing world is a video with Adam Ondra's first 8C boulders. Big Paw and From dirt grow the flowers, both at Chironico, Switzerland.
It was meant to be in the film The wizard's apprentice which will be available for download in a week or so, but then it would be too long.
This will be sort of an excuse to the climbers, because they have been waiting so long for the movie, which I was not able to finish the way I would have liked to., says Petr.
It should have been part of DVD extras, but yesterday in my car, I decided to put it out for free...
This movie will definitely be something out of the ordinary, with more top end routes and boulders than most of every other climbing movies combined. If the trailers are anything to go by, the footage is on par with the climbing.
Stay tuned for a review within a few days.
