Thanks James, the route is a real belter, even moreso than the photos suggest in fact. After getting the initial tick, Garth suggested we hang about till the sun started setting in the knowledge that the background would become very dark whilst the main face stayed lit. Unfortunately, the light faded badly just before he got onto the upper headwall, so the shots from that second ascent of the day came out quite flat.
I can't remember seeing photos of Dave on it (although I'm sure he'll have done it) but Steve Mcclure onsighted it earlier in the year and Kevin Woods got some nice shots of him on it. Maybe those are the ones you're thinking of?
