Which quarry?

In reply to Eric9Points:

The 1st one. The boulder problem up the middle of the slabby boulder.

If it’s the one I’m thinking of next to Spanking the Monkey, it could be a contender for the hardest slab in the UK... I’d be very impressed if it went down.

In reply to Smelly Fox:

That's the one. Doesn't look that hard.

Have you ever tried it?

In reply to Smelly Fox:

I have. Have you?

Smelly Fox 14 Mar 2019
In reply to aln:

Hahaha! Yes I have since you ask!

Could barely get off the ground without using either arête, but I’m no superstar.

It's one of those, easy if it goes down. It's about balance and friction

Weather on Sunday/Monday looks great. I look forward to seeing the pics on here

Anyone else tried it?

petegunn 15 Mar 2019
In reply to aln:

Try it facing outwards, bum, palms and flat feet for extra friction!

I've seen something similar work on another "unclimbable" slab.
