Just finished Season 3 of The Witcher. And just about to watch Andor Season 2.

On a happy note, I just discovered that they made a forth season of Barry. If you've never seen "Barry" and you like "The Boys" then you'll enjoy this one, with the lead actor Jack Quaid

I can't sell "Love, Death and Robots" enough and the new season just dropped in.

I don't think this season is as good as previous ones, but they're all still available to watch.

Beyond the Aquila Rift, Zima Blue and Jibaro are my favourite episodes.  Jibaro is absolutely spellbinding.

I downloaded it ages ago after watching clips on The Corridor Crew channel. But as yet not got round to watching it.

Soon to be remedied.

Let us know what you think.. Such a great little anthology series!  I noticed that Aquila Rift and Zima Blue were both based on stories from the same author (Alastair reynolds I think) so I went off and bought a book of his stuff.

But Jibaro.... I love to go back and watch it every so often.   (watched it last week )

C4's original "Traffik" from 1989 or 1990 starring Bill Paterson and Lindsay Duncan.

Another vote for this. Best thing I've seen in years.

Ripley

You sound like you might like more sci fi, so if you haven't already seen it, 'The Expanse' I found to be one of the best TV Series I've seen on streaming. Amazon Prime as I remember, but it's been a couple of years so it may not be there anymore. It probably took me a few episodes to get into it but then I was completely hooked.

I could easily be classed as a si-fi nut. And I can't wait till the Harry Potter TV serise comes out

Unfortunately i can't see any mention of a third series anywhere.

Loved watching Slow Horses recently and binge-watched the first 4 series. Gary Oldman is outstanding. Agree that Ripley is a good watch, unusual as its in B&W.

Have you seen Preacher? Would be a good shout if you liked The Boys.

Ripley is a work of art. And I'm  speaking as one who is usually very sceptical about modern day use of b&w.

Currently enjoying (if that's the right word) the latest and final season of the Handmaid's Tale - great dystopian darkness but it is pretty unremittingly bleak. Also nearing the end of season 3 of The Wire - for some reason I watched the first two years ago, then stopped. I feared it might seem dated and yes ok the surveillance tech is old hat now but it's about so much more than that. For a forensic dissection of post-industrial urban decline, and the way the drug economy reverberates across society, I still think it's unrivalled. My all time favourite though is Gomorrah, if you're ok with subtitles. Even thinking about the theme music is enough to get me a bit excited!

Andor series two is outstanding (last 5 episodes anyway, slower starting ones).

Just finished watching 'The Chair' on Netflix which I thought was pretty good. It's a few years old now but I've only recently been aware of it. Sandra Oh puts in a strong performance as do all the other leads.

Jack Irish, 3 series IIRC. Australian private eye. Quite a bit of humour. 4

Bates Motel, and Penny Dreadful.

Both surprisingly good, the latter having some wonderful moments such as Frankenstein's monster(Rory Kinnear) reciting John Clare's "I Am". Quite moving, I thought.

Have recommended Barry to a lot of people - can't understand why it isn't more talked about.

Otherwise, the best show ever made still remains - Mad Men.

I might be mis-remembering, but didn't the third season of Barry end in a way that would preclude a forth?

In that case James Bond will never hit the cinemas again with any new stuff.

Traitors Australia Season 2. Compulsive watching. Best season of the genre ever. Had the whole eric_in_cheddar family shouting at the telly/liveblogging to each other via WhatsApp across multiple episodes in mounting, fascinated disbelief at what was happening

In reply to The Lemming:

Really enjoying Mobland. I have no issue with the irish accents that some reviewers didn't like. Tom Hardy is fantastic - oozes menace. Stellar cast and (for me at least) benefits from having less of the Guy Ritchie trademark humour.
