The big event this weekend is
Cliffhanger, the UK's largest outdoor outdoor-pursuits festival, covering a footprint of 90,000 square metres in Graves Park, Sheffield, in the South West corner of the city. The event has been well-publicised around the city and it is hoped that it will expose thousands to the fun of different outdoor pursuits, including climbing.
One of the main attractions is the
British Bouldering Championships which will see around 200 of Britain's top boulderers battle it out to decide the national champions for 2007; seniors on Saturday, juniors on Sunday.
