SENIOR INSTRUCTOR

What we are looking for…

• Warm, energetic personalities
• At least 5 years climbing experience, including indoor lead climbing at grade 6a
• Relevant industry experience
• Experience of leading a team
• RCI or CWI qualifications as a minimum 
• Weekend and evening availability is essential

JOB DESCRIPTION
Post: Senior Instructor (full time 40hrs)
Reporting to: Centre Manager

Role:
As Senior Instructor you will assist the Centre Manager in overseeing all aspects of health
and safety across the facility. You will take a lead role in ensuring that both the facility and the PPE
equipment in circulation is maintained up to the required standards. The role also includes the implementation of staff training, staff observations and staff development.

SENIOR INSTRUCTOR
• Delivery of instructor training.
• Carry out staff observations and give appropriate constructive feedback.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of essential centre operational equipment.
• Management of inspections and Papertrail account.
• Be responsible for appropriately disposing of PPE which is no-longer fit for use.
• Ensure staff floorwalking is conducted and reported.
• Management of external contractors / instructors.
• Reviewing and implementing of company processes and procedures.
• Implementing facility improvements and updates.
• Maintenance of facilities, including repairs as needed. 
• Be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the facility.
• Ensure the health and safety of staff and customers.
• Working to guarantee that the highest standards of service and products are adhered to and
delivered.
• Acting Manager and Front of House in Site Managements absence.

TRAINEE INSTRUCTOR

What we are looking for…

• Warm, energetic personalities
• 2 years climbing experience, including indoor lead climbing at grade 6a
• Weekend availability is essential

JOB DESCRIPTION
Post: Trainee Instructor (zero hours)
Reporting to: Senior Instructor 

Role:
As a Trainee Instructor you will be given the opportunity to develop through our in-house training programme as well as national qualifications to become a qualified Climbing Instructor.

TRAINEE INSTRUCTOR

• Inspiring kids through delivering the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS)
• Enthusiastically and safely deliver various climbing sessions for all ages and abilities, including adult courses for beginners and improvers, kids clubs, parties and other group sessions / programs
• Helping customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Working on reception, taking bookings, phone calls, & shop.
• Selling services and products offered
