Rockfax Description
A delicate, easier route that is justifiably popular. Start below the big groove of Barbarian.
1) 10m. Scramble up to the tree below the slab as for the Barbarian approach.
2) 4b, 15m. Climb up and rightwards along a line of weakness that runs across the slab to a block at the right edge. Move round this to a tree belay at the base of the upper corner.
3) 4c, 30m. Climb the initial corner to a ledge, then commit to its continuation to reach a sloping ledge below vegetation. Traverse right across the wall to a groove and then right again to a crack which leads to the top. © Rockfax

βeta: Unfortunately I had to bail from the route for a home emergency. There are two 50m ropes struck on the second belay, wedged in a v shaped rock. I'd be extremely grateful if somebody could grab them if they are on the route, and contact to me on 07940519599. I'm based in Gloucester so maybe dropping them in the cafe would be a great option. Thanks in advance. | βeta? | |
