Italian climber Laura Rogora has achieved her hardest onsight to date with an ascent of Ajo Crudo 8c at La Cicera, Picos de Europa, Spain, becoming only the third woman to onsight the grade. Her ascent is the second onsight of the line in a few days after Seb Berthe's onsight last week (UKC News).
During her trip to the Picos de Europa on a sponsored athlete brand meet, Laura also onsighted Los Lunnis (8b+) 8b+ at Rumenes in the Hermida Gorge, Asturias.
On Instagram, Laura shared a video of her clipping the chains and shouting with joy with the caption:

Slovenian Janja Garnbret became the first woman in the world to onsight 8c with ascents of Fish Eye and American Hustle at Oliana, Spain, in the space of just a few days in 2021 (UKC News). Chaehyun Seo of Korea onsighted L'Antagonista 8c, at Montsant, Spain in 2022 (UKC News).
In 2020, Laura became the second woman to tick 9b with her ascent of Ali Hulk Sit Start Extension Total 9b in Rodellar, Spain and in 2021 made the first repeat of Stefano Ghisolfi's Erebor at Eremo di San Paolo, Arco in Italy. She is also a Tokyo 2020 Olympian.
