I saw your post and switched over for a look. I didn't stay long. It's not The Who in particular but, in general, I find 'old rockers' a bit underwhelming. They are almost always a shadow of themselves in their angry, energetic (relevant?) prime. How can a 70-something rip it up like a 20-year-old? I think if you're a die-hard, faithful fan though, then even the older version will be enough. I was lucky to be a teenager when live music was easily available and affordable with lots of different genres to latch onto. I was greatly into hard/heavy rock and saw some huge (or soon to be) bands. I suppose if you wanted to catch a glimpse of your heroes in their prime then a good cover band might fit the bill? I've never been that bothered to go and watch one myself.
