This week's Friday Night Video is another from 'angry pensioner' Rob Matheson. We follow him and Ian Cooksey up to  Mosedale crags where they attempt the first ascent of a new route that follows a striking slim groove with very sustained and technical climbing.

Top blokes, inspiring as ever - Went up to do this but it pissed down all day 😭 bit daft really.

Sand bags have been left up the hill so the masses needn’t bother carrying them in.

Thanks Mick ! I also used the latest grading tool to grade the climb as well ! eGrader says "Hard E5" as it is "French grade 7b" and "well protected trad". We were trying to keep up to date !

I think the walk in puts lots of people off. I believe Rob says in the video that there's a lot of future routes to be done on high-up single pitch crags.

These "craglets" aren't so obvious as the "big" cliffs so you'd need to put in some effort just to see whether there's any worthwhile lines on some "tiny" - from a distance - piece of rock.

And then there's the weather...
