Somebody suggested to me that I made a tick list of what they referred to as string arms specials. So below are a few examples of some of my contributions to north wales bouldering. Most if not all have decent landings and can usually be protected with just a couple of mats. There aren’t any high balls as I mainly develop areas on my own but on the longer traverses you may just have to place pads under the harder sections. I’ve tried to list problems that provide a variety of moves and rock types. I don’t climb particularly hard so there shouldn’t be any particular stopper problems in the list, but having said that one or two of the long traverses have meant more than one visit to link all of the moves, particularly all the way to glory at castell mawr which took several sessions. You'll find yourself in woodlands, coastal areas, quarries and open fells on the way to completing the list so bring your wellies and have fun!
