Nothing more inspiring than a route name from the pages Tolkien's legendarium, that shared mythopoetic history of the British Isles. With any luck, this list will motivate me to stop fannying around and get my grade up. From the lowest dungeon to the highest peak I will climb, ascending in unbroken gnar in many thousand pitches, until I issue at last in Durin's tower carved in the living rock of Zirakzigil, the pinnacle of the Silvertine.
