How mushroom at that belay.

Wish I'd have thought of that!

That's taking a bit of a Liberty slinging that Stump. Be careful of those Deceiver's you may end up with a Weeping Widow!

The use of 2 karabiners is a little over the top methinks!

Keep 'em coming!

I do like the belt and braces back up with the mini mushroom, though you really should have equalised them - if the little one rips, the big one would be shock loaded and more likely to fail. You are setting a poor example by posting such bad practice on here.
Robert Durran - 11/Oct/17
I think he'd left the slack to avoid a shock load on the belay, although worse still he'd clipped it to a gear loop ????

There's definitely 'shroom for improvement with that setup..
Samuel Wainwright - 11/Oct/17
Seriously though, you should probably have clove hitched it.
ChrisBrooke - 11/Oct/17
Fungimentally desporeate.
alan.rodger - 11/Oct/17
Re-clove hitching, I think there was a concern about compromising the strength of the sling.

I wish I had known. I was on the other end of the rope!

Holy shit-aki... what a liberty (cap).

I'd always suggest sage or parsley with mushrooms, not cloves
Stroppy - 17/Oct/17
Hey this is only acceptable when there's snow on the ground! Haha, great shot
Deezel65 - 17/Oct/17
Don't usually like that kind of thing but made me smile
