A ticklist of crags that can be reached by public transport from Cardiff. Bouldering, Sport and Trad :)
I've divided it up into what trains/buses go past what crags.
I've excluded Taffs Well because everyone knows it's there anyway.
A push bike would help with Abertysswg and Avon.
Avon is big, this list doesn't give a fair representation of the quantity of routes there.
Abertysswg is the biggest sandstone crag on here, and has potential for much more :) It is listed as "New Tredegar" on SWMC. New Tredegar on here is listed as "New New Tredegar" on SWMC
Rhymney train goes from Queen Street.
Bristol train goes from Cardiff Central.
All trains that go through Cathays also go through Pontypridd, their directions split after that.
The 122, 124 and 132 are all stagecoach buses, their routes overlap a bit with some trains, but may drop you slightly closer to some crags.
Go by the swbg location for Ponty common.
Sully Island is very tidal, don't get stuck on the island for 6 hours! Check the tide times.
