Hard boulders for Katie Lamb

American boulderer Katie Lamb has climbed Jerry Moffatt's Dominator (Font 8A+) in Yosemite and a problem called Chinese Connection (Font 8B) at Mortar Rock, California, which was her long-standing project.

The 23-year-old student has now climbed seven Font 8Bs in the past year. Last summer, she went on a rampage in Rocky Mountain National Park and ticked problems such as Nuthin' But Sunshine and Freaks of the Industry, before carrying her form into winter and climbing The Swarm at the Buttermilks in Bishop.

VIDEO: New problems for Jim Pope

Jim Pope has been cleaning up on projects in the Peak District recently. In a recent Ticklist, we reported that Jim had put up a new Font 8B called Bloodhound (f8A+) at Howshaw Tor and repeated Ned Feehally's problem The Boss at Yarncliffe. This week, Wedge Climbing have released a video of Jim climbing two new problems that were hidden in plain sight at Burbage South:

VIDEO: Giuliano Cameroni on Ephyra (Font 8C+)

Mellow have released the video of 23-year-old Giuliano Cameroni on the 3rd ascent of Jimmy Webb's Ephyra (Font 8C+) at Chironico, Switzerland. The Swiss boulderer climbed the problem back in March. The line is to the left of Dave Graham's From Dirt Grows the Flowers (8C) and was a well-known project before Webb climbed it back in 2019.
