The New Kid - An Expedition to Antarctica
This week's Friday Night Video follows the 'new kid' Savannah Cummins as she embarks on an expedition to Antarctica with the likes of Ana Pfaff, Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin, Cedar Wright and Alex Honnold.
The team travel to near Ulvetanna in the Orvinfjell mountains of Queen Maud Land, an area with several possible objectives. Savannah is mentored by the seasoned alpinists and climbers on terrain that's unfamiliar to her. She spends the trip on stunning first ascents of her own and documenting the trip as a photographer.
