Alphane - Shawn Raboutou climbs Font 9A
This week's Friday Night Video documents Shawn Raboutou's ascent of Alphane, for which he has proposed the grade of Font 9A.
Earlier this week, we reported that Shawn had belatedly announced that he had climbed the new 9A last year, waiting to share the news of his ascent until the film was ready. He also kept quiet about two other ascents; F*ck the System (8C+) at Fionnay, and The Story of 3 Worlds in Cresciano.
If confirmed, Alphane will be the fourth 9A in the world alongside Nalle Hukkataival's Burden of Dreams, Daniel Woods' Return of the Sleepwalker and Simon Lorenzi's Soudain Seul.
