I bet you never knew how much lower grade bouldering there is in the Peak area? Most of us have heard about the hard stuff, but the easier stuff at grades that everyone can climb or aspire to?

When we wrote the Peak Bouldering Rockfax we wanted to produce a book that appealed to everyone by celebrating the easier problems just as much as the hard stuff. To this end we have included over 400 problems at V0 4c or below, and a further 1000 at V2 5c or below. There are also 17 circuits at V0+ 5a or below and a further 21 circuits at V2 5c or below. That's a lot of accessible bouldering!

This isn't to say we haven't covered the hard stuff, in fact there are 2000 more problems in the higher grades up to a lofty V14 8B+! All this is covered in a massive 544 pages and 66 separate crags.

So no matter what grade you climb at, the Peak Bouldering Rockfax will have plenty of great bouldering on offer for you to enjoy.

The Peak Bouldering Rockfax is now available for pre-ordering at a special offer price of £24.95 (RRP £29.95).

Pre-order your copy now to take advantage of this special offer and to ensure that you receive the book as soon as possible after it is published. This will be the fastest way to get hold of a copy of the book, in fact you might even get it before we do since the main delivery goes straight to the warehouse before being moved on to the UKC/Rockfax base in Sheffield.

Still haven't ticked my way through the old one yet...

I'm extremely pleased that RockFax made the decision to leave the Grinah Stones out. It's possibly the only place in the Peak where you can be free of first ascents, tick marks, erosion & grades. Including it would have done nothing but harm. If people are curious (and energetic) it's easy to find and fairly straightforward to get to. I recommend spring and summer. It's mentioned briefly in "Over the Moors", and it's visible on Google Earth on the eastern part of Bleaklow. And on a map. Good show RockFax.

Agreed. Well done Rockfax.

Not to happy about this, not because its going to be a bad book because it wont be. But mainly for the fact that a me and a couple of friends are heading to the peaks the end of april, why couldn't it have come out at the start of april. :(

Go on tempt me! I have every Peak guide published since the late 80s and I've done pretty much everything I know about in my grades, up to V5. What new stuff will I find in this guide?
