Jetboil Mighty Mo Stove
As a simple canister-top stove the MightyMo is a departure from Jetboil's integrated cooking systems. It may not be as efficient, says Toby Archer, but it's more flexible and better for cooking as well as just boiling water.
These are reviews from the UKC editorial team
When I first saw a JetBoil back in 2004 I remember being highly cynical, too specialised and very limited in terms in its uses. Maybe I was right, but in the 10 years that have followed I have used my own JetBoil countless times and in a variety of different situations from Big Walls to North Faces, not to mention brewing up in car parks of innumerable rock climbing destinations around the UK.
UKC Editor Jack Geldard reviews the JetBoil Personal Cooking System: "The fact that the stove is so easily hang-able and that it all fits together in to a solid one-piece unit make it extremely usable in a big wall situation."
The Jetboil a roaring success. It can boil two cups in two minutes at 75-80% efficiency, the Jetboil is twice as fast and uses half as much fuel as conventional stoves. Paul Winder takes it out on the hill and brews up.
