Climbing Technology Ascent Harness

The Ascent Harness is built around a strong ergonomic shape that provides great support and comfort for climbers of all shapes and sizes. The wide lumbar region ensures comfort during long belays or whilst working a route and the new T shaped leg loops are engineered to provide support and freedom of movement. All harness contact points are backed with a soft mesh for comfort and breathability in warm conditions.

The Ascent has two quick adjusting buckles on the front that are easy to use and provide a secure, comfortable fit. The same quick adjust buckles are also a featured on the leg loops and ensure a great fit over a variety of leg-wear, from summer shorts to winter salopettes. There are elastic retainers on both the waist and leg loops to tidy up any loose webbing and keep things neat and tidy. The rise height straps are adjustable for a perfect fit and are releasable for easy on/off.

The four large gear loops have been revised for 2014 and now work even better than before. The two front loops are sewn on horizontally so gear doesn’t slide too far forward and interfere with leg movement. The two rear loops are sewn in on an angle to make it easier to access gear racked further back. There are also two further small loops on the rear of the harness for racking accessories like a nut key or belay device plus a chalk bag loop too.

The Ascent Harness is made in Europe, comes in 3 sizes and weighs a very respectable 400g. It's a great choice for the climber who wants a well made, well priced harness that will perform in a variety of situations, whether climbing ice on the Ben, clipping bolts on the Costa Blanca or squirming up an off width at Almscliff.
