Outside DEAL OF THE MONTH: Mammut Jarvis Zip Pull

Super lightweight and versatile unlaminated softshell pullover with Mammut design and quality, now half price!

The Mammut Jarvis Zip Pull is a great example of the lightweight unlaminated softshell top concept, which is perfect for use across a range of conditions, temperatures and activities.

Mammut Jarvis Zip Pull - Nautica/Dark Oak, 95 kb

The Jarvis provides some warmth and protection from wind and rain, but is not as bulky or restrictive as a lightweight fleece. It also copes better with short bursts of high output activities, such as climbing, as the softshell fabrics breathes better than dense fleece and can be vented. As you would expect from a company with serious mountain credentials like Mammut, the armpits are cut very high and articulated to help prevent the top from riding up when stretching for that distant hold.

The proprietary SOFtech fabric used is very lightweight, comfortable on skin and 10% of its fibres are elastane making it very stretchy. A generous neck zip for venting is partnered with a small chest pocket for essentials, retaining some practicality without overly fussy design. Panels of lighter fabric under the arms help to deal with excess heat and keep you comfortable.
