Despite 2020 being a rather odd year, Edelrid as always released some stand out products. These are our highlights!

SENDERO (RRP: £70)

Our fully adjustable laminate harness.

The Sendero is ideal for everything from sport to alpine climbing. The five gear loops and two attachment points for ice screw clips offer plenty of options to store equipment. It features a 20mm Slide Block buckle on the waist. The leg loops are equipped with 15mm Slide Block buckes, ensuring yet again that weight and bulk is kept to an absolute minimum.

Our Women specific fully adjustable laminate harness.

Performance harness which stands out due to extensive features, while being comfortable and light. The three buckle design ensures optimal fit. The five gear loops and two attachment points for ice screw clips offer plenty of options to store equipment.

SWIFT PROTECT PRO DRY 8,9 MM (RRP: £200 60M)

The Swift Protect has Aramid fibers incorporated into it's sheath. This gives this 8.9mm rope the same cut resistance as a big and bulky 10.0mm rope. Despite the Aramid reinforcement, the Swift Protect handles and has the exact same elongation values as the standard Swift Pro Dry.

• Thermo Shield treatment for perfect handling
• When used as a single rope, not suitable for top-rope or workout climbing
• Permanently water-repellent and dirt-resistant, thanks to the Pro Dry finish
• Water absorption less than 2% as per UIAA Water Repellent Test

Our lightweight softshell helmet!
