Why Grippy?

We love to climb and know we are not alone. We love to move with confidence, reach our dreams and visualize progression. During COVID19 we have all made drastic changes to our lives, and it looks like these will be long lasting after lockdown ends.

Over the past few weeks, we looked and listened to common frustrations with home training. We found a disconnect between effort and results and wanted to understand further.

We took top minds across the coaching industry and found education and motivation are key driving factors. Tools that help make meaningful measurements and track progression are missing, expensive or not good enough to use at home.

Grippy is our gift to bring world class coaching to your front room. A platform for Top professionals to publish their workouts and feed the nation's psyche. At the end of each workout you can visualize progression and identify areas to work on. Come get it….

Who are we?

Griptonite provides next level tools to gyms. We help them engage with new customers and retain existing ones. Our APP provides numerous ways for climbers to interact, track and compete. We feed interactions back to the gym in a meaningful way to help them "Level Up".

We are a proud UK company based in the North of England. Home stomping grounds include the Lakes, Northumberland and Scotland. Our customers are from all over the world and in the past year we helped them track over one million data points.

We need your HELP!

We want to make Grippy even better with Benchmarks but we need your help to do it. Using BIG DATA approaches we hope we can develop something really special and put it in your hands.

If your interested to help, get on your board and complete the following tests for us.

Have been playing with this for a week or so. I think it's the nicest interface of the fingerboarding apps I've used - I like the progress bar effect on the hangs. Nothing revolutionary obviously but a nicely made app with a good range of workouts and a friendly interface. Will continue to use.
