© Dick's Climbing

Dick's Climbing Logo The Mammut Genesis is a classic trad rope and probably the best selling half rope in Britain for the last 12 years. For a limited time only, we are selling 60m pairs for only £225.

The Genesis are hard wearing and great to use as well as being SuperDry treated, making them good for winter climbing.

The Genesis also uses Mammut's "Coating Finsh" for increased durability.

We currently have these on an excellent value for money pair deal, only £225 for a pair of 60s. Get them while you can, you'll probably never see them at this price again. Select "60m PAIR DEAL" from the drop down menu on the Mammut Genesis Product Page.

Anybody have strong opinions about these vs Beal Cobra II Unicore Goldendry? Need to get some halves at some point...

Generally the Beal vs Mammut discussion boils down to: 1. Mammut ropes last longer 2. Beal ropes handle better So that's the tradeoff...

Ring Dick, he just did me a very reasonable deal on some 50m Beal half ropes as didn't want the Mammuts. Can't recommend this retailer enough, always buy from him.

Agreed. Always top service from Dick

and generally stretch less so have higher impact forces and generally stretch more so have lower impact forces IMO some of the Beal ropes have more stretch (Cobra 11.5% vs Genesis 9%) than I would ideally prefer for general UK summer cragging, however I would be very happy climbing with them in Winter or in the Alps.
