Ferrata Combi GTX
Hanwag’s multi-award winning Ferrata Combi GTX has been refreshed for 2014 with several new features that will ensure maximum comfort and performance. A lightweight boot compatible with hybrid crampons, the Ferrata Combi GTX has b
een upgraded with a new neoprene cuff at the ankle that is softer for increased comfort.
The new design also includes an eye-catching, red area on the heel unit that clearly signifies where to place the crampon bale when required. Developed to offer excellent stiffness, the boot features a full length shank between the inner and outer soles in addition to a Vibram® Climbing II sole complete with full length TPU reinforcement. The high-quality Bergrind leather and Cordura® upper together with a Gore-Tex® lining keeps feet dry and comfortable, while click-clamp eyelets offer 2 zone lacing to guarantee a secure fit.
Approach GTX
For 2014 Hanwag has updated its popular Approach GTX with a reconfigured upper and a striking new design. A technical, all-terrain shoe ideal for approach hikes and rocky terrain, the new Approach GTX also features an improved asymmetric lacing system that will offer a more precise and comfortable fit.
Cobbled on Hanwag’s specially developed climbing last for a closer fit, the Approach GTX has a robust and shock absorbing Vibram® Cross sole which combined with a graded memory insole, provides optimal power transfer. Designed with Hanwag’s legendary quality, the lightweight Approach GTX has a suede and durable Cordura® fabric upper complete with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® lining to keep feet dry and comfortable.
