The cult smash-hit Underdeveloped is here! Underdeveloped received two special mentions from the Kendal Mountain Film Festival judges (Climbing and Jury), impressive for a debut film.

'Captures the spirit of climbing perhaps better than any other film' - Most people who've seen it.

This film is simply a story of a bunch of friends from Belfast, climbing in their home country. The title refers to the massively underdeveloped climbing areas that reside on the emerald isle that for years have seen a small but highly keen community enjoy the beautiful and diverse climbing. A desire to highlight these crags to the wider world led to the decision to create this fantastic film.

Filmed throughout on a set of second hand video cameras, travelling to all the major crags in worn out cars, the film captures not only bold first ascents, rare repeats of modern classics but also the humour and banter that is intricate with the climbing scene in Ireland.

Underdeveloped follows the climbers as they explore the high granite tors of the Mournes, climb the splitter cracks in the Burren and develop the bold tall faces away from the impressive columns of Fair Head. The light hearted attitude and enjoyment for the sport is apparent throughout. There are no glossy productions, or fancy camera work, it's just a film about how we climb in Ireland. Enjoy
