BLACK DIAMOND LAUNCH NEW CARBON PROBE POLE #1

This Season Black Diamond launches the new Carbon Probe Pole. Stiff, light and fully adjustable, the pole performs a double duty by combining a ski pole with a fully functional avalanche probe.

In the event of an avalanche, the two lower sections screw together to form a 182 cm probe (using 100-125 cm poles), and the all-new, super-secure FlickLock Pro adjustment system provides unparalleled clamping force when the pole is assembled.

The pole also features a Freeride Series grip with a soft palm material and an aggressive hooking point for leveraging bars and buckles, a Freeride Series strap for easy access and even weight distribution.

Features

  • 18 mm aluminum upper with 16 mm carbon fibre lower
  • 100 mm powder baskets
  • FlickLock Pro adjustability and security
  • Weight per pair: 585g (100-125 cm)
