Completely waterproof with a 100 percent seam-taped construction, this versatile hooded shell has strategically placed Pack Pockets™, an athletic design, quick-venting PitZips™ and coming in at just a touch over 300g this jacket is perfectly equipped to take on life in the mountains.

Marmot NanoPro MemBrain

Marmot NanoPro MemBrain uses an exclusive PU membrane that has been micro-engineered to be more breathable than any membrane on the market, whilst still being 100% durably waterproof.

Using a microporous structure, with pores 200% smaller than previous technologies allows for air particles to pass through, as well as moisture vapour molecules. This air exchange massively reduces the build up of moisture inside the jacket, a problem typically found with many existing fabric technologies. We hope you will agree that a 140% increase in breathability is pretty remarkable.

Ulitmately, by allowing air and moisture vapour to move through the jacket more freely, you, the user, enjoy a more comfortable experience.

It’s worth pointing out that NanoPro MemBrain is not like other air permeable technologies on the market because it is a 2.5 layer construction, and it’s different to other 2.5 layer jackets because it’s air permeable.
