Weighing only 36g per metre, the GULLY 7.3mm is the lightest double rope on the market.
It is also certified as a twin rope. Its extremely light weight and very low impact force make the GULLY 7.3mm the ideal rope for ice climbing, mountaineering and the most demanding terrain. Like all other thin double ropes in Beal's range the GULLY 7.3mm benefits from the reliability and additional safety that UNICORE technology provides.
MOUNTAIN LINE Range
For prolonged exposure to winter conditions the GULLY 7.3mm is finished in our Golden Dry treatment, which means every strand has been treated to give water repellency, absorbing less than 3% water and meeting the UIAA water repellancy standard.
The UIAA sets the standard for a rope to qualify as 'UIAA water repellant'.

Comments
If we're being strictly accurate it's the joint lightest and second thinnest half rope on the market compared to the Edelrid Skimmer 7.1.
Cracking ropes, the both of them.
7.1! That must be quite something to use. Take a bit of getting used to
It looks concerningly like prussik!!!
Yikes!
Surprisingly not if you have an attentive belayer and a suitable belay plate.
But will agree that seeing the string theory dangling between your legs on a runout does pucker up the old chocolate starfish somewhat.
