You never know when you are going to need a pair of binoculars, and lugging them around can be such a pain. But you need look no further, the pocket scope is a small but extremely powerful scope, that can zoom in on all those far away sightings in a jiffy.

The Echo Pocket Scopes produced by outdoor gear specialist Brunton are handy, small and lightweight spotting scopes ideal for climbers who want to check out the holds on a route before an onsight attempt or for sussing out the way ahead if the terrain is complex. They are the most compact monoculars in their class and have sevenfold magnification.

The Echo Pocket Scope performs impressively in a 7x18 monocular, thanks to top-end BaK-4 prism glass and multi-coated optics. Bright, sharp image as close as 13 inches.

Weighing in at slightly over 50 grams, the compact pocket scope scores with an 18 mm objective diameter, an eye relief of 12 mm and an exit pupil of 2.6 mm. It enables a close view of 33 cm and a field of view of 60 meters at a distance of 1000 meters with up to sevenfold magnification. For spectacular sights the quality optics feature multi-coated BaK-4 prism glass in a rugged polymer body that provides good grip in every situation. The Echo Pocket Scope monoculars are available in four colors (green, orange, blue, black) and come with wrist strap and a protective carrying case that features a belt loop.
