CAPSULE ZOOM II - RRP £750

Thanks to the Zoom technology this versatlie expedition tent is perfect for basecamp or high altitude.
The geodetic construction and ventilation system of our highly breathable single wall tent guarantees the best moisture transfer and circulation of fresh air. The tent has two vents and two removable vestibules, one for dressing, one provides extra space for your equipment. The highly resistent fabric that we use on this tent is composed by fibers that are fifteen times stronger than steel. The tent is extremely wind resistant and doesn’t need much space to set up, perfect for stormy conditions and small platforms.

The Zoom technology allows adjustment between more space or a lower profile. The technology used in Zoom makes it possible to increase the wind resistance of the tent by reducing the exposed profile. The tent can be adjusted to a wider range of situations without any significant increase of weight. This technology follows the main trend of alpine design - lightweight and strong construction. Designed for expeditions without fixed ropes, without porters and perfectly suited to all high mountain camps, as well as for Alpine style trips or your next climbing tour. This versatility makes the tent unique and useable in nearly all conditions.

ALPINE PITCH - RRP £295

Ultralight and compact - the Alpine Pitch is designed to help you in all emergency situations or as a stop over platform in the vertical world. Its 90 degree backwall fits to all rock structure and can be set up within seconds on the smallest plattforms.

ESSENCE II - RRP £330

The Essence UL tents are UItra-lightweight trekking and backpacking tents designed with Alpine inspired expedition features.  The use of Lotus Shield Single Wall non-membrane waterproof fabric along with an extremely large ventilation zip with insect mesh for protection provides low weight with high levels of climate control and comfort.  The large vestibule is perfect for cooking and gear storage.

ALPTREK II - RRP £270

The Alpine Trek combines excellent stability and minimal weight - it has the same structural design and features as the expedition tents. Nevertheless, the weight is designed to meet the requirements of a trekking tour. Thanks to the double wall construction, the trek offers an optimal ratio between ventilation and insulation and the two vestibules offer enough storage space for all your camping needs.

MICRA II - RRP £165

A long-time best seller in the SALEWA tent range. A unique two pole design with two crossings increase headroom, but keep the groundsheet small. One huge rainproof entrance with two sliders form an additional ventilation when you need it, usable from the innertent. Two side ventilations let the air flow and effectively reduce the condensation inside the tent. Big enough for two preson lightweight trips, or a very comfy tent for long-range solo adventures.

Interesting range of tents. Will they be in available in other colours (like dark green)?

... and nothing new in solo tents. Either Terra Nova Lasers and Hilleberg Akto are too good, or there are not many soloers in this world!

Bit of both I suspect. Modern single pole solo tents are very good indeed, and as soon as you add poles you are in a weight range where you may as well make the tent take 2 people.

Hi Martin Ben at Salewa here, just to let you know there's only one colour per tent as pictured. The green we use is nice and bright, definitely not dark ! Always great to get feedback on other colours and the like that people are interested in though so thanks for that

Hi Ben, thanks for the reply. It might just be me, but for wild camping in the UK I prefer something a little more discreet. As I say, might just be me :)
