Edelweiss Unicore Technology Gear News

Edelweiss Unicore is a revolutionary rope construction process which can be of benefit to every climber. The Unicore process bonds the rope sheath and core without affecting the suppleness of the rope.

With a non-Unicore rope, if the sheath is cut but an abrasion over a rough edge it will slide and gather - this causes numerous problems to climbers and makes it impossible to either ascend or descend over this zone.

With an Edelweiss Unicore rope the sheath will remain in place after a cut and allows the climber to escape, either by ascending or descending on the rope.Unicore technology brings unrivalved security to all climbers.
