Nemo Obi 1p Tent

Back in 2002, Cam Brensinger incorporated Nemo Equipment Inc with the intention of bringing high-level design and engineering to the outdoor industry. The first tents utilised the innovative Air Supported technology, an idea which was explored to create an entire tent shape from one compound curved airbeam and welding beams rather than sewing them.

When this first generation of tents was launched at the Outdoor Retailer Show in 2004 the tents instantly captured the attention of the industry. Nemo was published in the 'Best of Show' section of the OR Daily publication and the following year was named overall winner of the 2005 ISPO Brand New Award, recognizing the most innovative products in the outdoor industry from around the world.

Over the next few years, the product line evolved and were refined. Awards continued to be received from leading magazines and shows, confirming Nemo's place as one of the world's foremost equipment manufacturers.

As Nemo's product line expands beyond tents, it continues to thrive as a young company, committed to making the most innovative and high quality equipment for outdoor adventure and survival and committed to protecting the people and places that make adventure possible.

The Obi series tents have been designed to provide maximum space for minimum weight. Subtle design features such as the overhead hub on the pole help create superb internal space without the need of additional ridge poles.

Obi 1p Features:

  • 1kg minimum weight
  • DAC Featherlite NSL poles
  • 10d waterproof fly fabric for minimum weight
  • large internal and vestibule space
