Joe Browns Winter Booklet Deal Of The Month

Introducing the Joe Brown's Technical Winter Booklet for the 2016/17 season.

We are rather excited to bring you our second edition. After the success of our first one last year, how could we not do it all again this year?! 52 pages of technical kit - and this isn't even all of it.

This winter season has got off to a great start and we're, like many of you, are just hoping it lasts. Whether you are taking your first steps out in the hills in Winter conditions or an avid Winter climber looking to update some kit, this booklet is for all of you, most especially - gear aficionados!

What's included:

  • Ice Axes
  • Crampons
  • Helmets
  • Harnesses
  • Hardware
  • Ropes
  • Footwear
  • Packs
  • Gloves.... a lot of gloves
  • Publications

...Plus a whole lot of inspiring images to hopefully get you psyched to get out in the mountains this Winter!

The digital version is all linked to take you to our website, so no hunting or searching around, just click on the item you like the look of and you'll be taken straight to it!

Many thanks to Adrian Nelhams, British Mountain Guide and Director of ISM, the International School of Mountaineering, for providing us with some great skills videos. You'll find these slotted in at various points in the booklet.

Paper copies will be available in our Llanberis and Capel Curig shops as well as Plas y Brenin. Any orders placed online or over the phone will also recieve a copy in the post with your order.

Here's a preview of what you can find inside:

We hope you all like it!

Happy Winter 2016/17 season from all of us at Joe Brown Shops.

There are elements of both if you scroll through the online catalogue you get pop up video How-to-guides on Ice climbing, rope coiling etc. NB I have no connection to JB's just an observant punter
