We have just published a new digital guide to some amazing sport and trad climbing on the beautiful island of Cyprus. The new guide is available for free until 13th March.
This Rockfax Digital guide covers the five best crags on the island and includes sport and trad routes. There is a great set of climbs in the Iniea area including the big block of Droushia/Ineia Area. At Episkopi is a super steep wall for hard sport and Dhiarizos (Diarizos) is a series of blocks and pinnacles that have now been bolted giving the island's most popular crag. For trad climbers there is plenty to go at at Cape Greko Area although many of these routes are now being bolted.

This Mediterranean island has a much longer climbing history than many would expect with some early ascents of trad routes on Cape Greko being made as long ago as the 1960s, mostly by British Army climbers. Further development occurred in the 1990s when a bunch of enthusiastic ex-pats put up many more routes on several crags across the island. More recently local climbers have put up a lot of sport routes on several new crags as well as bolting some of the older lines.
Thanks to Matt Dowsett, Stefanos Papadopoulos and John Hunt for their help with this guide.
New climbs are added every month, and free areas are available to non-subscribers, so whether you're a boulderer, trad or sport climber, Rockfax Digital gives you all the information you need to go climbing wherever and whenever you are.
