Ace

The BOREAL Ace is a stiff, mid-performance shoe ideal for sport and trad routes, although there's nothing to stop you using them on thrutchy boulder problems…!

Featuring a stiff midsole and rubber protection over the toe, Ace will excel on small edges and in cracks.

The upper is made from premium quality split leather upper and features a secure lace closure. The low volume last shape is mildly symmetrical to help fit those with long second toes yet maintains a precise toe shape for pockets. At the forefoot, the midsole is concaved to encourage a slightly "toe-down" position without the discomfort of a more aggressive shoe.

The stiff ¾ length midsole provides excellent support; and combined with our Zenith Pro rubber, results in superb edging performance. A rubber patch covers the toe area to protect the foot while jamming in cracks and to aid friction while toe hooking.

Whether your aspirations are short grit outcrops, sandstone splitter cracks or huge granite walls, Aces are a winning pair.

Ballet

Alongside the Ace, Ballet is another reborn modern classic. Combining traditional elements such as a high ankle cuff, stiff midsole and relatively symmetrical toe profile with modern developments including a mild downturn and highly sticky Zenith Pro rubber, Ballet is perfect for big routes and long days.

Ballet features a premium quality high – top split leather upper and a secure lace closure. The last shape matches that of the Ace, with a low volume and relatively symmetrical shape to help fit those with long second toes, and with a precise toe box.

Lacing runs all the way to the toe, allowing for a more relaxed fit than Ace for increased comfort during longer days. The high ankle aids support on long routes, and incorporates padding to protect the foot while jamming into cracks.

A stiff midsole supports the foot on long routes, while Sticky Zenith Pro rubber provides excellent friction and a firm hold even on tiny edges.

For big walls, long days on multi pitch mountain routes and the ultimate in comfort and protection Ballet is the perfect choice.
