List updated to match the 80 routes in the updated and expanded 2017 third edition of the Cicerone guide Scrambles in Snowdonia by Steve Ashton. Scrambles in Snowdonia is a classic climbing/mountaineering text. Ashton was responsible for creating the scrambling grades as we know them for its first edition. Note: Five lesser quality routes that were in the second edition have been dropped to make room for better lines in the third edition. The five routes have nonetheless been updated for completists and can be found as a free PDF under the 'Further Information' and 'Additional Routes' tabs on Cicerone's supporting webpage for Scrambles in Snowdonia.
